Abstract Submission

Please submit your abstract within a following period (2 months):
June 1 - July 31, 2006
Requirements as Presenter
- Speakers for oral sessions or presenters at the poster sessions must
be a member of JSSX (Regular member or Student member) or ISSX (for
oversea participant) when submitting the abstract. If not a member,
please apply for the ISSX or most ideally the JSSX membership before
submission.
JSSX Membership
Application
- Each speaker is allowed to make only one oral or poster presentation
in the annual meeting.
- Above described rule does not apply to the Invited Speakers for Symposium,
Special Lectures or Award Recipients' Lectures.
Presentation
- Please
select either oral presentation in symposium (25 min lecture, 5 min
discussion), short oral presentation (9 min lecture, 3 min discussion
) or poster presentation, when submitting your abstract. The program
committee will notify you which presentation category your abstract
was assigned to.
- Posters
will be put up for 1day with 1 hr of discussion time.
- Oral presentation will be presented with LCD projector, using
Powerpoint file prepared by the speaker (as a general rule, please
bring your own computer, and operate it by yourself.)
- Best Poster Awards will be presented to the best posters (1st-3rd
prize). If you would like to apply for this award, please apply when
submitting the abstract. The committee will select about 15 posters
beforehand as the 'Finalist'. Finalists will be interviewed
by the committee at the time of presentation,
and the top three will be selected.
Submission
- Only the submission made on-line is accepted. Please note that submissions
in other form will not be accepted.

Submission Form
- Submission must be done by the presenter (speaker). The speaker
must be either a JSSX member (Regular member, Student member) or an
ISSX member (for oversea participant).
- The presenter is requested to fill in the E-mail address in the Abstract
Submission Form. More than one abstracts submitted from one E-mail
address are not accepted. If you do not have an E-mail address, please
obtain one before submission.
- Any contacts from the committee will be sent to the same E-mail
address.
About Abstract
- Please have prepared an Abstract beforehand. Only MS-Word
file will be accepted.
- You can prepare your own abstract by overwriting the abstract
sample.
Except for Forum, all abstracts should be in English.

Symposium, and Forum will be up-loaded on this homepage as soon
as they are decided.
Instruction for Preparing Abstracts

This can be overwritten.
- One A4 size(English)
- Space: Top 40mm, Bottom160mm, Side 20mm
- Font: Times 10 points
- Line Space: 13 points, single-spaced
- Title should be in all caps, starting from the left. Bold type
- Linefeed, Speaker name (First name, Middle name, last name) in
plain letters. Put a superscript number (affiliate). Number not needed
if all presenters are the same affiliate. Draw a line under the speaker.
- Linefeed, Affiliate and Address including name of country in plain
letters.
- Title, Presenters, Affiliate should not have lines in between.
- Line Space between abstract and Affiliate.
- Start Abstract from far left. Left margin and right margin should
be aligned.
- Letters must be in black.
- No figures allowed.
