On June 30, 2021, the 2021 Journal Citation Report (Clarivate) was released, reporting DMPK’s 2020 Impact Factor (IF) as 3.614.
This number is a significant jump from last year’s 2.772 and is the highest IF for DMPK since the IF was first reported in 2008.
Since an increase in the IF is expected to lead to an increase in the number of quality papers submitted, the Editorial Board will make further efforts to maintain and improve this number.
We would like to thank all of you who have submitted papers, our readers, and all those involved in the publishing industry.
As announced in our e-mail announcements and on our website, several articles published in DMPK have been selected as one of the top 1% of highly cited articles in the field of Pharmacology & Toxicology in 2020 by the Web of Science (Clarivate). DMPK’s international recognition is growing.
In addition, DMPK has adopted an article-based publishing system this year, which enables rapid publication after acceptance.
We encourage our members to actively submit their research results to DMPK and to read and cite the articles published in DMPK.
We look forward to your continued support of DMPK activities.
