Request for Nominations of Candidates for New Delegates for 2024

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of the activities of theJapanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (JSSX). I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the delegates for their invaluable support, which has enabled our society to grow to what it is today. Therefore, we would like to ask you to nominate outstanding delegate candidates (up to one delegate from each member) for this year.
Candidates for new delegates must have been active members for at least three years, have presented at at least three meetings organized by JSSX, and have published at least once in DMPK journals (including Xenobiotic metabolism and disposition and Newsletters). (Refer to the bylaws of JSSX: see our website, “About JSSX” / “Constitution and Bylaws”).
If you are interested in nominating someone, please send the following set of documents to our Secretariat by May 7, 2024 ( postmarked ).
After preliminary screening by the General Affairs Committee, the nominated candidates will be selected as new delegates by the Board of Directors and the delegates’ vote.
Please be advised that a part of the submitted documents will be disclosed to the delegates for the selection of new delegates.
The following documents will be made available to the delegates for the selection of new delegates.
- Nomination Form (If you are nominating an active member who has been an active member for less than 3 years and belongs to a company, please specify the reason for the nomination.)
- Candidate’s history as a Regular Member, curriculum vitae, list of accomplishments, contributions to JSSX and number of presentations at meetings sponsored by JSSX, number of publications in DMPK (including Xenobiotic Metabolism and Disposition and Newsletters)
- Candidate’s statement of position (if the candidate is a corporate member, has been a member for less than 3 years, has made less than 3 presentations at meetings organized by JSSX, or has published less than 1 article in DMPK (including Xenobiotic Metabolism and Disposition and Newsletters): any format is acceptable)
Note: Please use the new delegate nomination form in the regulations for the items 1 and 2.
