In this cold spring season, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my best wishes to all of you. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our activities.
In the election for the 19th Board of Directors of JSSX, eleven (11) Directors (a majority of between 17 and 21) will be elected by the votes of the Delegates from among the candidates recommended by themselves, nominated by others, and recommended by the Director and the Chairperson of the Director Candidate Selection Committee.
Delegates are therefore asked to nominate candidates for the Board of Directors or to recommend suitable candidates for the Board of Directors in accordance with the following guidelines.
Please send us both self-recommendations and recommendations by Monday, March 31, 2025 (postmarked by that date).

Notes on Candidate Notification and Election
- Candidates must submit a Notification of Candidacy (Form-1) with their name, age, and affiliation, and seal, along with the reason for their candidacy, a statement of belief (about 400 characters), and a brief biography (approximately 1 A4 sheet).
- When nominating a candidate, submit a candidate nomination form (Form-2 or 3) signed and sealed with the names and affiliations of the nominators (three delegates), along with the reasons for the nomination (approximately 400 characters) and a brief biography (approximately one A4 sheet) of the candidate. The nominee’s intention shall be confirmed in advance of the nomination. Both candidates and nominees must be under 65 years of age at the time of taking office (as of the date of the next Annual Meeting of the JSCPA).
- Candidates for the Board of Directors shall be selected from among the Delegates who are eligible for election ( see the website of the Society ).
- Notification of candidacy or nomination of candidates must be submitted to the Secretariat by Monday, March 31, 2025 (postmarked by that date).
- Voting by delegates is scheduled to be conducted via the web by the deadline of Friday, May 2, 2025.
- The Election Committee will conduct the vote count in June 2025.
- The term of office of directors will be in accordance with Article 31 “Term of Office of Directors” of the Articles of Incorporation.
Please note that the submitted “Reasons for Candidacy and Statement of Position (about 400 characters)” and “Reasons for Nomination (about 400 characters)” will be made public to the delegates for their reference during the voting.
