Call for JSSX SME application (deadline May 7,2025)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of the activities of the Japanese Pharmacokinetics Society.

The Japan Society of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (JSSX) is pleased to announce the start of the JSSX SME (Japan Society of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Certified Subject Matter Expert) certification system, which aims to develop human resources who can learn and apply pharmacokinetic theory. This certification system is intended for regular members, mainly those affiliated with companies, who have continuously achieved research achievements or studied at the Society, and the Society will certify them as JSSX SMEs.

To apply as an SME candidate, you must fulfill (1) and (2) or (3) below.

  1. Have been a continuous regular member for at least three years at the time of application.
  2. At least 4 points for each oral or poster presentation as the first presenter and 1 point for each co-authored presentation at scientific meetings (Annual Meeting, Short Course, and Corporate Young Scientists Exchange Meeting) organized by the Japanese Society for Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics.
  3. At least one publication as the first author (including equally contributing) or responsible author in a journal (DMPK and newsletter) published by the Japanese Society for Pharmacokinetics or a pharmacokinetics-related journal (must be peer-reviewed).

Applications must be submitted as a PDF file after downloading and inputting the application form, and must be submitted as an email attachment by Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

After preliminary screening of the applications by the General Affairs Committee, the results of the preliminary screening will be discussed with the Board of Directors, and the title will be conferred upon a vote of the Board of Directors.
